DESCRIPTION: EPW - Armand Schwob & Frère, La Chaux-de-Fonds, "Mysterieuse" transparent mystery watch with hands driven by rotating clear flat crystal disks behind clear mystery dial, 54mm, silver OF original case, band with button at 1 for release of front, SW with hands manually pushed to set, clear fixed dial with painted gilt numerals and central decoration, surrounded by signed and elaborately engraved crescent form plate, cylinder escapement, 10J, gilt mvt in crescent shape concealed beneath elaborately engraved crescent form cuvette, s#1519.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, good gilt tone, some numerals and letters scribed to plate surface, oxide to crown wheel and to balance jewel disk; nearly flawless dial with few minimal micro-fine scratches, flawless underlying rotating glass disks with some mild surface dirtiness; fair hands, hour with oxide and finish loss; case shows hardly any wear, a dark patina, dent to band at 9; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystals.
